The Year of the Snake Gift Card Holders

On my website I'm doing a series where I'm destashing my huge collection of scrap fabrics; with every scrap I use up I make up a new little project for it, then give away the project pattern for free. I needed a break from all of the destashing for Chinese New Year though, so I made a papercraft tutorial instead. I made this one back in February in time for the holiday, so I thought I would move it here now since it's a few months old.

It was a lot of fun designing the kawaii snake pattern and then apply it to the card holder. I wanted it to look like the ubiquitous red envelopes that are given away during the holiday ^-^

The pattern is a .pdf where the first half is instructions, and the second half is the printable card holder that you can cut out and assemble.
