Up until now, all of the plush sewing patterns I had available for free (sewdesune.deviantart.com/galle…) and for sale (www.etsy.com/shop/CholyKnight?…) assumed you have basic sewing knowledge. But I get so many beginning sewers trying out my patterns it only seems fair to create more tutorials on sewing basics -- particularly for plushies. So that's what this is I hope to keep making more and incorporate them into my patterns from now on so they'll be even more beginner-friendly.
With all of the applique I do, the topic of satin stitching comes up a lot. It's a more advanced technique that produces embroidery machine-like results while using a regular machine. It does take some practice to get used to it, but having the right tools and supplies with you from the beginning goes a long way to successful results With any luck, this infographic might help some of you out there that are curious about it!
