All of the plush sewing patterns I have available for free (sewdesune.deviantart.com/galle…) and for sale (www.etsy.com/shop/CholyKnight?…) assume you have basic sewing knowledge. But I get so many beginning sewers trying out my patterns it only seems fair to create more tutorials on sewing basics -- particularly for plushies. So that's what this is I hope to keep making more and incorporate them into my patterns from now on so they'll be even more beginner-friendly.

This one covers some basic things to know when working with fleece and minky. They're both very popular fabrics right now, and new variations of them are coming out frequently. So I often find new trendy-sounding names cropping up at my local Joann's. I hope to clear up some of that jargon in this infographic so people know what they're getting. In addition, there are a few helpful things to know when working with fleece and minky so you're not caught off guard.
